The following communities have confirmed their participation in the May 12th protest:
Cambridge: rally, picnic, games for kids. Noon.
Cobourg: Email and twitter campaign
Hamilton: There are two events in Hamilton.
1. Protest starting at 1:pm at the Board of Education Building, 100 Main St. West.
2. A Play-date protest is being held at Churchill Park playground 3pm to 4pm. Have fun!
Kingston: Email campaign
Norwood: Email and twitter campaign
Peterborough: Starting at noon, march from Cenotaph at Confederation Park through downtown, returning to park for rally and live music.
St. Catharines: West Park Secondary School from St. Catharines, Ontario will be holding a Rally/demonstration on May 12th at 1pm. Montebello Park is the starting point and we will progress through the streets of downtown. See news story.
Sudbury: Starting at 11am, rally and picnic in Memorial Park then a march over to the school board office.
Welland: The Friends of Crowland Central School in Cooks Mills, Ontario will be holding a Rally on May 12th starting at Noon on Old Lyons Creek Rd. An email campaign is also planned. See news story.
